The mission of Colorado State University (CSU) Extension is "to provide information and education, and encourage the application of research-based knowledge in response to local, state, and national issues affecting individuals, youth, families, agricultural enterprises, and communities of Colorado." Extension serves as a statewide network of programs for all Coloradans. We are part of a nationwide educational network of scientists and educators who help people solve problems and put knowledge to use. CSU Extension provides a link between the university and the citizens of this State.

CSU Extension provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas; Agriculture, Horticulture, Family and Consumer Science, Natural Resources, and 4-H Youth Programs.
