Custer County Community Economic Development Committee

Commissioner Directives:

Steering Committee to compose a mission statement and objectives.
Steering Committee to identify organizations to be represented.
Steering Committee to submit recommendations for committee appointments to be made at the January 11, 2005 Custer County Commissioner's Meeting.
Steering Committee ensure that identified organizations select /endorse their own representative.

Recommendations:

CCCEDC to be composed of 9-15 volunteer members.
Steering Committee will be composed of current members working on the CCCEDC. Steering Committee may dissolve upon establishment of the CCCEDC
CCCEDC to meet monthly and open to the public.
CCCEDC Representatives to include one from each category:
- Silver Cliff Town Government
- Westcliffe Town Government
- Wetmore/San Isabel/Hillside
- Water
- Custer County Chamber of Commerce
- Regional Planning Commission
- Emergency Services
- School / Education
- Health Care
- Ranching/Agriculture
- Real Estate
- Non-Profit Organizations
- Construction
- Lodging
- Utilities
