The Custer County Commissioners will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 1:00 p.m. on the 14th day of April, 2016 at the office of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), 205 South 6th Street, PO Box 150, Westcliffe, Colorado 81252, Attention: WCCL Project Bid for the following:

Revisions to the Wetmore Community Center/Library to include:

• Repoint brick masonry
• Remove existing concrete stair, metal roof, and stair addition at east elevation
• Refinish and paint all interior walls and trim as shown
• Rehabilitate or furnish and install windows and doors as shown
• Repair and refinish all flooring as shown
• Reconfigure interior space as shown
• Install new lighting as shown
• Install new stair/elevator addition
• Install new secondary stairs as shown
• Provide all mechanical, electrical and plumbing improvements and modifications as shown

The bids will be opened at the BOCC meeting on April 19, 2016 scheduled at the Wetmore Volunteer Fire Station,
located at 200 County Road 393, Wetmore, Colorado 81253. The contract will be awarded thereafter, on or
before May 4, 2016. Construction of the project to begin within sixty days following the contract award date.

Partial plans and contact information are available for review on the Custer County Website (see below). A hard
copy ($80.00), flash drive ($10.00) will be available as part of the preferred walk-thru of the facility.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: Providing and maintaining adequate insurance coverage is a material obligation of the Contractor and is of the essence of this contract. All such insurance shall meet all laws of the State of Colorado. Such insurance coverage shall be obtained from companies that are authorized to provide such coverage and that are authorized to do business in Colorado. The Contractor shall at all times comply with the terms of such insurance policies, and all requirements of the insurer under any such insurance policies, except as they may conflict with existing Colorado laws or this contract. The limits of coverage under each insurance policy maintained by the Contractor shall not be interpreted as limiting the Contractor's liability and obligations under the contract.
